Quality Junior School was honoured to host the Mayor of Ruwa and his delegation on 10 June 2026 for a fruitful engagement focused on the growth, development, and welfare of our school community.
The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful discussions on the opportunities and challenges facing the school. Key areas requiring support were highlighted, with particular emphasis on learner safety and infrastructure development.
We are pleased that the Mayor’s delegation reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to learner safety and indicated plans to mobilise resources for the installation of speed humps, road safety signs, zebra crossings, and other traffic-calming measures around the school.
The engagement also explored future development plans, potential partnerships, improved educational resources, and stronger community involvement. The positive discussions reflected a shared commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and conducive learning environment for all learners.
