About the Founder
Dr. Maria Mafunga, the Harare UN Ambassador for Women in Entrepreneurship, boasts an impressive array of qualifications and achievements.
She obtained a diploma from the Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute in Zimbabwe in 2000, followed by a diploma in Child counselling.
Her academic journey continued with a degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe in 2002, and an MBA specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the same institution in 2004.
In 2013, Dr. Mafunga-Kimu furthered her education with an Honours degree in Education and Educational Management from the Zimbabwe Open University. Her academic pinnacle was reached in 2020 when she attained a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from UCL- University College London.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr. Mafunga-Kimu the founding director of Quality Junior School is also the founder of Quality Senior School in Ruwa, and Hawk Ridge Senior School, a new boarding facility in Marondera both of which are opening their doors to the public in January 2025.
She is also the visionary behind ZEDA, a school directors club aimed at fostering networking and collaboration among educational leaders nationwide.
The Board of Governors
The Board of Governors at our school serves as the governing body responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and overall management of the institution. Comprised of experienced professionals, community representatives, and educational experts, the Board operates within the framework of the school’s constitution. Their primary role is to provide guidance and support to the school’s leadership, ensuring that policies and decisions align with the school’s mission and values. Through regular meetings and consultations, the Board of Governors plays a crucial role in shaping the long-term vision and sustainability of the school.

The Prefects Body
The Prefects Body of our school consists of a group of student leaders who are entrusted with various responsibilities to uphold discipline, promote positive behaviour, and foster a sense of community among their peers. Selected through a rigorous process based on merit and leadership qualities, prefects play a pivotal role in maintaining order and harmony within the school environment. They serve as role models for their fellow students, assisting teachers and staff in various duties, and representing the student body in decision-making processes. The Prefects Body operates under a set of guidelines and expectations outlined by the school administration, to promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and excellence among students.
